Over the past few months I’ve collected the 3 ‘New Tales of Old Palomar’ by Gilbert Hernandez. They’re some slightly weird stories following classic characters such as Pipo, Chelo and Carmen, with supernatural occurences, psycho foreign scientists and feral children. In summary, I loved the first one, the other two I couldn’t quite get into, but Gilbert’s artwork and entertaining, strong characters make them still a worthy read.
